BEST TANZANIAN UNIVERSITIES 2015: Latest Rankings 23 February 2015.
A list of best universities has just gotten out and the result is something removed from the old ones we have seen before. Most universities have however worked extremely harder to make the list of top 51 best universities in Tanzania while some others have skimmed off the list because they couldn’t increase their pace of improvements on certain things forming criteria for ranking.
Note that in ranking these universities, four major factors have been considered:
i. their presence,
ii. rate of Impact,
iii. openness and
iv. academic excellence
Based on the world ranking web of universities, below are the 51 best universities in Tanzania and also their world ranking in bracket.

SHOCKING...Nyayo Estate Resident (KENYA) Left Trembling After He Finds A Python Coiled In His Toilet (Photos)

Believe it or not, Mr. Wanjohi, Specialist – Information Communication & Technology Management, found a snake in his toilet in Embakasi Nyayo Estate not very long ago, so it’s not strange that snakes swim along the sewer lines and end up in the toilet bowl.
It’s by God’s grace that his toilet pan was closed, otherwise God knows what would have befallen to them. And as he lifted the pan, he saw the snake and closed it right back (unlike those of us who enter the toilet backwards, taking it for granted the course is clear!!!).
After calling for help which came between 5 – 10 minutes later, the snake had slid through the lid and was coiled on the toilet mat on the floor. It must have been fatigued by the struggle of climbing the slippery toilet bowl so it just lay coiled and didn’t move.
It was killed right there on the toilet floor. Beware!!! Always make sure the pan is closed when you go to bed lest wild life gets into your bedrooms, always switch the light on when going into the loo, and lastly but not the least make sure there is nothing in the bowl before you use the toilet. Never sit, before looking properly.”

The world's largest cruise ship arrived in the UK today for the first time.
The £800m Oasis Of The Seas sailed into Southampton at 10am on Wednesday in dense fog, welcomed by a crowd of hundreds and helicopters circling overhead.
Weighing 225,282 tonnes, the 1,187ft ship is longer than London's The Shard is tall, and at 208ft wide, larger than the wingspan of a Boeing 747.
Tight squeeze: On its maiden voyage, the ship is pictured lowering its smokestacks to squeeze under the Great Belt Bridge
Dominic Paul, senior vice president of Royal Caribbean International, said:
'Today is an important milestone in the global expansion of the Royal
Caribbean International business.
'We are marking a significant step change in our investment into growth markets around the world.
'The welcome of Oasis of the Seas to Southampton is followed next year by
sistership Allure of the Seas sailing outside the Caribbean for the
first time during a summer 2015 season based in Barcelona.

West Mbinga MP Hon. Captain John Komba has died today at 10 pm in the TMJ Hosptali Mikocheni.
Pursuant to the child by the late Mr. Jerry Komba said the death of her father, a consequence of diabetes in which he has claimed that sugar fell suddenly at his home in Dar es Salaam Mbezi Beach.
"It is truly an elder dies 50 minutes ago, he was at home sitting but sugar fell suddenly and a little later he died" said Jerry Komba child of the deceased.
The member secretary of Gasper Lord Hope said that the member was rushed to hospital where that death TMJ yamemkuta.
Moreover the Lord Gaspaer Hope added that the body of the deceased has been transferred to the Lugalo hosptali in
Dar es Salaam where the funeral schedule is not yet known.
